Canon 1D Mark II (8.2mp) VS Canon 5D (12.8mp). Please read for more info.?
Well i am in a position to upgrade from my canon T1i to more of a pro camera. I am looking to buy a good used camera, and these two particular cameras are what i have in mind. First of all, i am not looking to downgrade, which i dont believe that i would be with either of these cameras. The 1D boasts a much, much faster fps over the 5D and my T1i. The 1D and 5D are pro quality/ sealed. Plus over my T1i. 5D is full frame sensor, 1D is not, yet it is still larger than my T1i. The 5D has a higher mp count, but the T1i has the highest of the 3, but with a smaller sensor. The 1D has better battery life/grip built into it. I will be using this camera mainly for landscape, automotive, action and the occasional portrait shot. Which camera will generally offer better image quality in low light conditions? Which do you feel would better suite my needs? thank you for your time.

One camera that you didn’t mention is the new 7d. It’s an APSC sensor, (But still larger than your T1i) It offers 8+ FPS, as well as significant increase in MP’s (18 Megapixel)
