how do i print black & white (not greyscale printing) from a canon pixma mp460 printer?
does anyone know how to get a black & white (not greyscale printing) print from the above mentioned printer. i also tried going in printer properties but i coudnt find anything about black and white printing. do u know how to do it?
this printer has got two ink cartridges – (1)black and (2)colour, so it does not make black print by mixing other colours.

1. Just because it has 2 seperate cartridges does not mean it doesn’t use “color” to make black. A lot of printers are doing that today to keep the color from drying out when not in use.
2. This is a line from your printer manual:
Color ink consumption may occur even when black-and-white or grayscale printing is specified. (page 78)
